...the way

….the way

There is a Zen saying: “The way that can be written is not the true way.”
Which is to say, sadly, that all that I write in this blog about Zen is false. Zen cannot be understood by reading and it cannot be written or studied in any meaningful way. Those of us who seek to understand and spread knowledge about it are left with something of a paradox. If we write it about it…we are wrong. If we do not, people do not learn about it and so it fades. Consequently, this bog is not, and cannot be, about Zen. It simply uses some of the most obvious and simple concepts as a framework to talk about problem solving, about software debugging.

Then Zen CAN be understood by reading and it CAN be written or studied in any meaningful way.
